St. Ferdinand Catholic School is a merged school serving two parish communities: St. Ferdinand and St. Martin de Porres. The St. Ferdinand Parish School Board meets monthly from August through June. The role of the Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Pastor of St. Ferdinand regarding school policies. Board members are either parishioners at St. Ferdinand Parish or St. Martin de Porres Parish. They are not required to have children in school; however, they are asked to have a heartfelt interest in helping the school further its mission to the children it serves. Currently, the Board is made up of nine members, seven representing St. Ferdinand and two representing the community at St. Martin de Porres.
