We had so much fun this past week learning all about flowers and plants! We learned about different kinds of plants and flowers, how plants and flowers grow, and the different parts of flowers and plants. We looked at white carnation flowers to identify its different parts and then added the flowers to colored water. We were amazed to see the color travel up the stem to the flower, changing the color of the flower! We also planted sunflower, pumpkin, and green bean seeds into glass jars and we are so excited to watch them grow!

Our caterpillars turned into butterflies this week as well!! We loved watching them flap their wings and fly around in their butterfly houses. It was even more exciting to release them and watch them fly free outside!

In preschool, we have been learning all about insects! We learned how to tell if a bug is an insect, the body parts of a bug, and the life-cycle of a butterfly! We have been watching our caterpillars eat their food and make their chrysalises! We cannot wait to watch them become butterflies

We also celebrated Earth Day by learning all about our planet! We loved getting to look at our globe and spin it around to look at all the different continents! We learned how to keep our Earth clean and all about recycling!
