North County Health Screening and Health Fair

    North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice (NCCU) in partnership with People's Health Center is sponsoring its sixth Annual North County Health Screening and Health Fair on August 6, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This year's Event focuses on "Back to School Fair and Tornado Relief Support."

     Various health screenings will be provided including dental, glucose, cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, lazy eye, weight, etc. In addition, we will be providing free clothing, school supplies, prizes, games, etc. The "Safe Kids" program, a fire truck, and ambulance will be present as well.

     All of theses screenings are free and will be conducted under our big tent.  Refreshments will also be provided.

     These activities will take place at People's Health Center, at 11642 West Florissant Ave., Florissant.

     This year's activities will be supported by St. Louis County Public Health Education Department, Christian Hospital, DePaul Health Center, People's Health Center, Rotary Club of Florissant, Lions Club of Ferguson, Old Town Donut Shop, North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice as well as others.

     According to President of North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice and co-coordinator Rance Thomas, "we are looking forward to another big turnout.  In the last three years, we have had over 2,500 participants."

     Everything is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
