Adult Faith Development

All Christians, indeed all humankind, enjoy a personal relationship with God and are on an individual journey to grow ever closer to him.  One of the best ways we can encounter God is through the fellow Christians with whom we journey.  Adult Faith Development fosters continual spiritual growth by offering small faith study groups where the common questions for life, faith, and God can be explored in a nurturing, supportive environment.  These groups typically have 7-12 participants, and meet in the spring and fall.  If you would like more information on being a small group facilitator, or becoming part of the coordinating team, please call the Parish Office at 837-3165.

St. Ferdinand Adult Faith Development happily announces:

The next Bible Study beginning April 20, 2016

Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible helps you uncover the story woven throughout Scripture, so you can get the “big picture” of the Bible. The complexity of the Bible is simplified through an easy-to-follow narrative approach, along with a chart which helps you to follow the story that ties all of Scripture together.

The study includes eight half-hour videos presented by Jeff Cavins. Jeff will guide us through salvation history. He will explain how the Bible reveals God’s loving plan for our life and provide us with helpful advice on how to put our faith into practice. These engaging videos also feature footage from the Holy Land, animated maps, useful charts and graphics, and beautiful art, which add to the overall experience of the study. Each video will be followed by group discussion.

We will begin Unlocking the Mystery of the Bible on Wednesday, April 20th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for 8 consecutive Wednesdays in Duchesne Room 9.

Optional: Register at www.evangelization.com to utilize new online resources
